What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies (e.g. localStorage, pixels) — the same rules apply. This policy explains which we use and why.
Cookies that do not need consent
Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent because the site cannot work without them (e.g. sign-in session, security/CSRF, your saved cookie preference). These are always active.
Categories we use
- Necessary — always active; required for the site to function.
- Analytics — help us understand usage so we can improve the service. We use these only with your consent.
- Marketing — used to deliver and measure advertising. We do not currently set any marketing cookies; if that changes we will ask for your consent first.

We review this table whenever the cookies we set change, and update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings button below (or in the footer). Rejecting a category sets no cookies in it. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies keep working and some features may break.
A note on UK law (DUAA 2025)
The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 introduces limited PECR exceptions (from 5 February 2026) — e.g. first-party aggregate analytics and remembering display preferences may not require opt-in consent, but you must still inform users and offer an easy opt-out. Marketing/advertising cookies still require consent. We apply these rules to the cookies listed above.
